This scholarship fund was established under the Tunku Abdul Rahman Foundation Sarawak Scholarship Ordinance in 1982. The Sarawak Foundation becomes the secretariat responsible for managing of its fund.

Objective

• To assist students studying in either local or overseas institutions
• Priorities are given to students doing their first degree, masters, doctorate or post-graduate diplomas.

Applications

• Applications will be opened and advertised in the local newspapers.
• The application form must be duly completed.
• Application forms can be obtained from:
• The Sarawak Foundation's office.
• All Resident's office.
• All District offices.
• Divisional Education offices.
• Local institution of higher learnings.
• The application must reach us on or before the stated closing date.
• Other matters:
• The cost of per application form is RM2.00.
• Please follow the instruction on the application form closely.
• Attached the necessary supporting documents and make sure it is certified true copy. (eg. examination certificates, offer letter, result slip for those on-going with their studies)

Selection

• Only duly completed forms will be entertained.

• Actively involved in co-curicculum activities
• Sosio-economics
• Type of course of study
• Interview.

Interview

• Shortlisted applicants will be called for interview.
• The date and time of interview will be informed through the student's respective institutions.
• Place of interview will be at the respective institution where the student is studying. Students will be notified of other places of interviews to conducted should a need arise.

Outcome

• The result of the interviews will be out within 2 weeks after the interview date.
