Airticket Assistance Scheme for Industrialised Trainings

Since 1995 this scheme has helped those in need to undergo training at various industrial training centers (ILP) throughout the country.

The Foundation assist by givimg a return air ticket for the trainee. The Foundation with the co-operation of the Labour Department helps the student to complete the training. This scheme opens for application twice a year in conjunction with the intake date of the ILPs.

Objectives

• To help trainees who are financially challenge to register themselves at the respective ILP.
• To enable trainees to further develop and acquire technical skills so as to fulfil the need for a technical workforce in Sarawak.

Applications

• Application is open twiced a year in line with the intake date set by the ILPs.
• The Scheme is open to potential trainees who are offered a place to study in various ILPs in Malaysia.
• The applicant must duly completed the application form which comes with their offer letter. Supporting documents must be certified true copy and attached with the application form.
• Succesful applicants will be informed through Jabatan Tenaga Rakyat.
