This scheme was started in 1996 to help students in overcoming financial
burdens eg. paying of deposits at local universities prior to receiving sponsorship from relevant bodies.
This measure hopes to lessen the burden faced by students in the pre-registration process.
Objectives:

To provide advance to students pursuing their studies in institutions of higher learning but facing financial implications.

To assist students in the early stages of registration for their studies prior to acquiring sponsorship from the relevant bodies.

To help ease the burdens placed on their families.
Application
Students must duly fill out and complete the application form which can be obtain from our office. Every application must be attached with certified photocopies of their offer letter and their parents payslip (if any).
Process
The Sarawak Foundation undertakes to process each and every application in the shortest time possible and promptly notify all applicants on the outcome. The total amount of the advance is between RM1000.00 to RM1500.00.
Repayment
Once the student received the first payment from their sponsor, the Treasurer of the respective institution will deduct the full amount of loan due to The Sarawak Foundation.
