THE SARAWAK FOUNDATION'S CLIENT CHARTER


In accordance with the Sarawak Foundation’s objectives and responsibilities, we pledge to :
  • Give financial assistance to needy students for education purposes.
  • Educate students, parents and society about the importance of their roles and responsibilities towards viewing education as an investment in the future.
  • Assist in disseminating up-to-date information to aid educational planning.
  • Assist the state government by developing activities that could improve the education sector in Sarawak.
  • Assist the state government in planning, training and developing human resources in various fields for the development of the state and country.
  • Assist the state government in the event of accident or disaster.

We also pledge to carry out these objectives with full dedication in a polite, friendly, honest and efficient manner.

We further assert that :

Education;

  • All applications for Education Programmes (Education Loan, Full Loan, Matriculation Loan, Rolling Fund, Air Travel, Local Scholarships, Examination Fees Loan and Student Exchange Programme Scholarships ) will be processed immediately and a decision made within two weeks from receipt of the application;
  • The Local Scholarship will be paid to the school within two weeks of receiving the student’s results ;
  • The Education Loan will be given within two weeks of receiving the student’s’ results ;
  • Receipt for Education Loan payments will be issued within three days if received by post and immediately if payment is made in person during office hours ;
  • Education Loan Repayment Statements will be issued within three days upon request.
Human Resource and Financial Management :
  • The Foundation will provide a user-friendly environment with good facilities and customer service ;
  • All complaints will be dealt with immediately and a response given within two weeks ;
  • Service quality will remain a priority ;
  • Suppliers will be remunerated within one month of receipt of invoice.
Investment and Property
  • Receipts will be issued within three days if payment is made by post and immediately if payment is made in person at the counter.
